Ascended Magic
Progressing your magic rank is fun and all, but what if there was another way to improve your character's magic? The answer would be Ascended Magic, which in the gist of things is an extension of magic that allows you to improve it in new and interesting ways. Once your character has 100 SP earned and you have been roleplaying as them for at least three months, simply send myself a PM letting you know you're interested in Ascended Magic. In order to actually obtain it, you'll have to go through a series of tests.

First up, once detailing how you would like your character to obtain their Ascended Magic, although I'll take some liberties, you'll be given a series of five objectives to complete related to your quest. Once the objectives are sent, you'll have a month to complete them, each objective being covered in a separate thread, whether it be individual or otherwise. A full post rotation is required for each objective, and once completed you'll send the links to me so I can check for quality, that you actually completed an objective, and grade each thread.

Once this is done, you now have the ability to obtain Ascended Magic. You'll start a thread to acquire it, where myself will moderate and put your character through a series of tests to earn Ascended Magic. Do note, this thread must be individual in nature, not even companions can accompany your character on their journey. If you manage to survive and thrive, your character will gain the following benefits:

• Your cantrips all increase by two levels, up to a maximum of Level 7 with Rank 10 magic.
• Your techniques become slightly more powerful, allowing for more leeway when it comes to creating and upgrading spells.
• You may now pursue the second tier of Ascended Magic.

That's right, your journey toward obtaining the ultimate magic doesn't end with one quest alone. More details will be released at a later date, however two more tiers of Ascended Magic do exist, offering even more powerful options to further your character. However, do note that only one of your characters may have Ascended Magic, and that you have a maximum of five chances to achieve it.
