Plot Basis ( WIP)

Long before the Blight forced man to flee the planet, there was but one home for humanity: Earthland, the Origin of Magic.

However, a conflict arose between two nations, ending when a rogue general unleashed a deadly plague upon Earthland, named accurately as "The Blight."

It ravaged the world, destroying all in its path, indiscriminately. Rather than submit to their fate, the nations of Earthland banded together, combining magic, technology and raw manpower in order to find some way to combat the disease choking out all life it came across. And while there were massive leaps in technology, it seemed that the Blight was far too powerful.

Fifteen years passed, with no hope in sight. So, mankind fled Earthland in massive colony ships, designed to find a new home for humanity. Though some ships were lost, the people of Earthland endured.

After 300 years of speeding into space, a cluster of habitable planets were found. Tensions flared, and wars were waged. Though, out of the fire and flames, greater things came to fruition. The Alliance of Unified Planets sought to unite the nations of the galaxy together. And the Interplanetary Security Commission, formed of recruits from each allied nation, was formed to maintain the balance of power between those nations. Meanwhile, faster-than-light travel was developed in the form of both massive “warp rings” constructed throughout the galaxy.

More conflicts rose up, and were resolved, though some remain controversial, even to this day. Several corporations funded colonies of their own, becoming minor nations of their own right, within the Alliance. And for a time, all seemed to be well.
